A newly agreed global text on climate loss and damage funding is “not perfect”, but will begin the process of getting money to countries most vulnerable to climate change, Eamon Ryan has said.

The Minister for Environment was speaking after international talks in Abu Dhabi managed to agree a text on loss and damage funding for countries most impacted by climate change, ahead of the full COP28 climate conference in Dubai later this month.
