Morrison Hotel applies to convert event spaces into more rooms
Inflation has left the Hilton-owned hotel’s meeting and wedding space underused and not financially sustainable and the hotel is now seeking permission to add an additional 16 rooms to the premises
The Morrison Hotel in Dublin, which is owned by the Hilton group, is planning to convert its meeting and wedding space into more rooms as cost inflation has rendered its events business not financially viable.
The proposal to expand the Ormond Quay hotel, which currently has 145 bedrooms spread across four floors, would add an additional 16 rooms to the premises.
