The ESB is set to expand its legal action against employees over allegations that some staff sought corrupt payments from developers to expedite electrical work on building sites, the Business Post understands.

The state-owned electricity company, which has already filed High Court proceedings against one engineering officer, has written to three other employees to signal its intention to issue legal proceedings against them, according to a source familiar with the matter.
