Minimum pay and pension rates for construction workers to kick in from September

From September 18 this year, the hourly rate for craftspeople in Ireland will increase to €21.49, while from 5 August, 2024, the rate will increase to €22.24 per hour

Minimum pay and pension contribution rates for workers in the construction sector will come into affect later this year following a recommendation from the Labour Court.

Neale Richmond, the Minister of State for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment on Friday approved a Sectoral Employment Order (SEO) for the construction sector.
