Mike Ashley ups stake in Boohoo fashion group to 13.4 per cent

Mike Ashley, the high street retail titan, has continued to push up his stake in Boohoo, the fast fashion group run by Offaly man John Lyttle.

Ashley’s stake in the business now stands at 13.4 per cent, according to stock exchange filings on Friday, up from 10.4 per cent.

Ashley is building up the stake through Fraser Group, the company which owns the Frasers department store chain and Sports Direct.
