Michael O’Flynn refused costs by Supreme Court as judges criticise ‘combative’ proceedings

The Supreme Court has refused to award Michael O’Flynn his costs in a case he was successful in as it criticised the “combative” and “unhelpful” nature of proceedings.

The five-judge court also ruled this morning that O’Flynn’s challenge to his neighbour’s personal insolvency arrangement (PIA) will be remitted to the High Court, in another blow to the Cork developer who had wanted it remitted to the Circuit Court.
