Meta suspends Supermac’s accounts after GAA took issue with April Fool’s prank

Firm’s Facebook and Instagram accounts are offline after the company claimed that Croke Park had been renamed after the fast food chain

The social media pages of Supermac’s have been suspended after the GAA made a trademark complaint about an April Fool’s Day joke posted on the Supermac's Instagram and Facebook platforms.

The fast food chain’s Facebook and Instagram accounts are currently offline after it posted a photoshopped picture of Croke Park and said that the GAA grounds had been renamed ‘Supermac’s Croke Park’.
