Medtech machine firm Adapt Engineering to quadruple staff under new ownership

The Dublin-based company has been bought by British firm PCE, which sees Ireland as a ‘gateway’ to the European market

Adapt Engineering, a Dublin-based firm that produces machines for the medtech industry, has been acquired by British company PCE Automation for an undisclosed fee.

As part of the acquisition, PCE Automation plans to quadruple staff numbers over the next five years to around 40 employees.

Founded in 1986, Adapt Engineering currently employs ten people and counts major medical device multinationals such as Medtronic, Teleflex, Boston Scientific, Biotronik and Biosense Webster in its client base. The ...
