The crisis in RTÉ requires the government take progressive action to safeguard the future of the broadcaster, according to Brian MacCraith, the chair of the Future of Media Commission.
“Recent circumstances have exacerbated the funding challenges. We didn’t know it at the time but the recommendations and comprehensive analysis by the FMOC are really relevant,” MacCraith told RTÉ’s Morning Ireland.
