Dublin’s ISEQ falls back slightly despite surge in AIB and PTSB shares

Dublin's ISEQ finished the week’s trading on Friday down seven points (0.08%) to 9,036.

Despite the overall drop, shares in AIB were up 3.7% to €4.17 after it raised its full-year guidance for the second time in three months.

It almost doubled its first-half profits thanks to higher interest rates and an influx of new customers.
