Market Wrap: Irish stock exchange extends gains as euro climbs

The ISEQ All Share continued its positive momentum and ended Tuesday 1.1 per cent higher, as the euro strengthened against the dollar to levels last seen in August.

The Irish stock exchange rose as the thinly traded Donegal Investment group jumped 3.1 per cent. Smurfit Kappa lost some of its earlier gains to trade 2.8 per cent higher, while Mincon Group was up 2.3 per cent on the day.
