Dublin’s office vacancy rate surged in recent months as owners of new office block struggle to find new tenants, new research by Lisney, the real estate agency, has shown.

At the end of June, the city’s headline office vacancy rate was 15.7 per cent, up from 13.8 per cent at the end of March. The vacancy rate in the Dublin office market was 6.9 per cent in the first quarter of 2020.
