Liquidators appointed to BlackBee Investments as firm’s chief executive suspended

The Central Bank - who applied to appoint the liquidators - said it deemed the move necessary to protect the interests of investors.

The Central Bank said it applied to appoint provisional liquidators over a €180 million Cork-based investment fund because “no viable alternatives” were found despite extensive engagement.

Luke Charleton and Colin Farguharson of EY were appointed over BlackBee Investments yesterday following an application from the regulator, which said it considered the move necessary to protect the interests of investors.
