Liquidator accused of ‘trying to make up a case’ against Edenmore Meats director

A liquidator has been accused of “trying to make up a case” against an Irish construction company boss in a reckless trading action involving Edenmore Farm Meats, the collapsed Donegal abattoir.

Gary McCarthy SC, told John Healy of Dublin-based Kirby Healy Chartered Accountants, that he was relying on a “false narrative” in his case against Donal Gallagher, part owner of the Galldris Group, a construction company based in England, and a director of Edenmore.
