Leo Varadkar expresses confidence in longevity of NI executive but warns against reform

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said he is confident the new Northern Ireland executive is built to last but warned against rushing to reform the Northern institutions.

Varadkar and Rishi Sunak, the British prime minister, met the leaders of the new powersharing executive at Stormont on Monday as the devolved government began its work.
