The head of the European agency responsible for dealing with bank failures has warned Irish lenders there is more progress to be made with their crisis recovery plans despite recent improvements.
Dominique Laboureix, chair of the Single Resolution Board (SRB), said his agency was “comfortable with the Irish banks” in terms of the progress they’d made but added that it didn’t mean “it’s the end of the journey”.
