Kurdish general pursues Twitter account holder through Irish courts

A Kurdish businessman and military leader is petitioning the Irish courts seeking to oblige Twitter to disclose the identity of an account he believes is targeting him and damaging his good name.

Last Wednesday Sirwan Barzani, a member of the influential and powerful Barzani family that has held power in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq for decades, lodged an application with the High Court in Dublin.
