Kingspan, the Irish insulation company, has been accused of “dishonest science”, “fraudulent conduct” and “malpractice” at the final stages of the public inquiry into the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire which killed 72 people.

During the closing statements that were made following 400 days of evidence, Kingspan was accused of being part of a group of “rogue companies” and agencies responsible for creating the conditions that led to the fire.
