Kenmare Resources’s founder Carvill to step down after almost 40 years
The managing director plans to leave in August but will remain a consultant until the end of the year
Michael Carvill, the founder and managing director of Kenmare Resources, is planning to step down in the summer after almost 40 years at the company.
The founder of the Irish mining company will stand for re-appointment at the annual general meeting in May. Subject to his re-election, he will remain on the board and in his executive role until August and then stay on as a consultant with the firm until the end of 2024.
