An examiner is not an appropriate remedy for the issues at chocolate snack maker Broderick’s, a High Court judge said in his dismissal of a bid to put the business in examinership.
In his written judgement delivered last week, Justice Michael Quinn said court protection was not a remedy for the concerns raised in the examinership petition brought by a member of the company’s founding family.
