A row over whether John Magnier should have access to an array of documents concerning a deal for the sale Barne Estate is set to come before the High Court tomorrow.

At issue in the dispute is a six-week period between when the Coolmore stud owner filed his lawsuit last year and when Regan signed a €22.25 million contract for the property.

Last year, Magnier sued Richard Thomson-Moore, whose family has owned Barne Estate since 1654, in an effort to enforce a €15 million deal for the property he alleges was agreed after the pair and an estate agent shook hands. The case is also against the estate and three trustees.
