Former Taoiseach John Bruton was remembered as “a statesman of unshakeable integrity and moral conviction” at his state funeral in Dunboyne on Saturday.

Delivering the graveside oration for the former Fine Gael leader, who died last week aged 76, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar told mourners that Bruton was a man of hope and faith who changed Ireland and “changed it considerably for the better”.
