Isme, the lobby group for small and medium sized firms, was forced to abandon a celebratory lunch on Friday after Gardaí identified a suspect device close to the hotel where the event was taking place.
Around 400 people were in attendance at the Isme lunch in Clontarf Castle celebrating the organisations 30th anniversary, when hotel management entered the room and asked for an emergency evacuation.
