Irish-listed Corre Energy becomes ‘largest’ energy storage developer in Europe

Corre Energy, the Dublin-listed energy storage firm headquartered in the Netherlands, has said it is now the largest energy storage company in Europe, with 100 gigawatt hours of capacity currently under construction.

This represents 20 per cent of the total capacity of large-scale energy storage projects in Europe over the next 10 years, according to a new EU-wide development plan by European transmission system operators.
