Irish exports dropped 6 per cent in 2023

Exported goods dropped in value by about €11 billion to €197 billion, alongside a less marked slide in import figures

Irish exports dropped in value by about €11 billion to €197 billion last year compared to 2022, according to the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The new figures also show the value of imported goods dropped by about 1 per cent to €140 billion compared to the previous year.
