Ireland’s largest dairy co-op reports record sales of more than €3bn for 2022

Tirlán, the Kilkenny headquartered farmer co-op, recorded double digit sales and profit growth last year on the back of record food commodity prices

Tirlán chief executive Jim Bergin said the co-op delivered an “excellent performance” in 2022.

Tirlán, the farmer owned co-op formerly known as Glanbia Ireland, saw its turnover increase to record levels last year thanks to soaring international dairy and grain commodity prices in 2022.

Announcing full year results on Wednesday, Tirlán said it recorded full year sales of more than €3 billion in 2022, which was up almost 40 per cent on the previous year and a record level for the farmer co-op.
