Ireland has lost out in its bid to host the EU’s new anti-money laundering agency (Amla) following a vote by member states in Brussels this evening.

Frankfurt was chosen to host the EU’s new anti-money laundering agency (Amla) following a vote by member states in Brussels this evening.

Ireland had bid to host the new agency in Dublin’s IFSC which would see the creation of 400 jobs.
