Ireland holds out for EU-wide corporation tax reform

Despite pressure, the government is holding back on unilaterally introducing the minimum 15 per cent rate as other member states are doing

The government is continuing to support efforts to reach an EU-wide commitment on the implementation of a minimum effective tax rate, rather than progressing plans to unilaterally introduce the measure, the Department of Finance has said.
