Intercom boss rebuts criticism over Pride, as firm reports rise in revenues

Eoghan McCabe says suggestions the company doesn’t support Pride are ‘ludicrous’

Eoghan McCabe, chief executive, Intercom: ‘Our policy is working really well for us. What it entails is keeping social and political issues out of work’

Eoghan McCabe, the chief executive of the tech unicorn Intercom, has rejected claims that the firm has ended support for Pride and other diversity initiatives. He said in contrast to this, the firm is focused on building a “radically inclusive” work culture that is “accepting of all views”.

“The goal here is to build a place where there’s no judgment, no hate, and all types of people and viewpoints are tolerated,” he told the Business Post.
