Ireland slipped from seventh to ninth place among the most attractive locations for private business to thrive, amid the cost of living crisis and energy price increases, according to new figures .

The latest private business attractiveness index from PwC, the consultancy firm, ranked Ireland in ninth place out of 33 major European, Middle East, and African (EMEA) economies scored on their overall private business landscape.
