Investors have begun to buy into Intel’s turn around, with shares gaining 33 per cent this year
Pat Gelsinger, Intel's chief executive, has said the firm is making strides in efforts to return to global leadership.
“I would give us a passing grade, two and a half years into the journey,” Gelsinger said in an interview last week as the firm opened a new factory in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
“My product machine is, you know, I won’t say it’s world class, but it’s no longer broken.”
