Indian construction giant plans to build projects worth €180m

Shapoorji Pallonji’s country head for Ireland and UK says a number of projects have already commenced, adding: ‘We’re here and we’re ready to spend money in Ireland’

Shapoorji Pallonji, the Indian construction conglomerate, is planning to deliver more than €180 million of building projects in Ireland over the coming years.

The group, previously led by Pallonji Mistry, the Indian-born construction tycoon, is made up of 13 companies across three divisions and employs more than 60,000 workers in 60 countries. Shapoorji Pallonji Europe was established in Ireland in 2018 and had a turnover of €28 million in 2021.
