IFSC offices to be converted into medical facility as rising vacancies plague financial hub

The owners of an office building in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) are planning to convert part of the vacant block into a medical facility amid a slowdown in demand for office space.

In recent months, a series of reports from property consultancies have shown that Dublin’s office vacancy rate has increased rapidly. Office vacancy in Dublin is forecast to reach 17 per cent by the end of the year, according to Lisney.
