IDA appoints former PwC boss Feargal O’Rourke as chair

O’Rourke - who served 37 years with PwC - was appointed to the position on December 31, according to the state board’s website

IDA Ireland has appointed Feargal O’Rourke, the former managing partner of PwC, as its new chairman.

O’Rourke has been lined up to succeed the outgoing Frank Ryan, who has been chairman of the agency since 2014.

In October, O'Rourke announced his plans to retire from PwC, the accounting and consultancy firm, after a 37 year career with the firm.
