Ibec calls for new €30bn infrastructure fund as part of pre-budget submission

The employer’s representative body said the government needed to increase spending on infrastructure to tackle the “systemic congestion” in the economy right now

Ibec, the employer representative group, has called on the government to establish a new €30 billion dedicated infrastructure fund that will help address the social, economic, and environmental infrastructure needs of the country over the next decade.
