‘I don't know where it ends’: Social housing body quoted €500k per apartment unit

Tuath Housing has warned apartment costs are significantly increasing year-on-year, with the social housing body now being quoted more than €500,000 for two-bed units by developers.

Sean O'Connor, chief executive of Tuath, said the government needs to focus on deflation of property prices to ensure the future delivery of social and affordable homes over the coming years.
