Housing completions expected to drop to 27,000 this year

The number of new homes completed is predicted to fall to 27,000 in 2023, according to the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI).

The latest BPFI housing market monitor shows that almost 30,000 new homes were completed last year.

This is a significant rise compared to recent years, up by 45 per cent from 2021 and 41 per cent from 2019, prior to the pandemic.
