Mortgage holders experienced an inflationary rate of 7.8 per cent in the year September, 1.4 per cent above than the national average, new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show.

According to new data published as part of the CSO’s Frontier Series, households with the highest incomes and/or with a mortgage experienced much higher inflation than those earning less or without a mortgage in that period.
