House asking prices drop for third consecutive quarter

The average ask price for homes dropped by 0.3 per cent nationally in the first three months of this year, with the “modest slowdown” coming despite poor supply in the market, according to a report from MyHome.ie.

While asking prices have fallen for third consecutive quarter, the report notes, the median asking price for a house nationally is now €310,000 - 3.2 per cent higher than a year ago.
