House prices down 0.2 per cent in Dublin, up 2.4 per cent nationally

The rise in of the average price paid for a house has slowed for a fourteenth consecutive month, with house prices increasing by 2.4 per cent nationally in the year to May.

This is down from an increase of 3.4 percent nationwide recorded for April 2023, according to most recent Residential Property Price Index (RPPI), the with some housing experts suggesting the figures point to a stabilisation of prices in the property market.
