Hostelworld reports record revenue amid ‘robust’ booking environment

The online hostel booking group said demand for hostel accommodation has recovered fully and is now ahead of pre-Covid levels

Hostelworld, the online travel agent focused on the hostel market, has reported double-digit growth in sales and bookings for the first half of this year as its business continues to recover strongly from the worst effects of the pandemic.

Announcing interim results on Thursday, the group reported sales of €51.5 million for the first six months of 2023, which is up 57 per cent on the same period last year.
