Hollywood hit by biggest ever crisis as actors join screenwriters strike

Hollywood actors have decided to join writers on the picket line, sparking an industry-wide shutdown in a row about pay and the impact of artificial intelligence.

Initial reaction from industry bosses was one of anger and frustration with Disney boss Bob Iger saying the demands are “unreasonable”.
