Hiring process begins for lead role at new media regulator

Nets are also being cast to fill posts of online safety commissioner and media development commissioner, ahead of Coimisiún na Meán being formally set up

Recruitment is underway for the executive chairperson of Coimisiún na Meán, Ireland’s new media regulator, with a salary on offer of €215,988.

The positions of online safety commissioner and media development commissioner are also being sought at salaries of €170,000.
