Hines secures €80m loan for Central Plaza redevelopment

Cheyne Capital loan will refinance an existing loan facility and support fit out works at the Dame Street site

Hines has secured an €80 million loan from Cheyne Capital, an alternative asset manager, to support its redevelopment of Central Plaza in Dublin.

The Dame Street site, formerly home to the Central Bank of Ireland, is being redeveloped as a joint venture between Hines and Peterson Group, the Hong Kong based real estate investment company, after the two firms bought it in 2017.
