High number of women say they have been sexually harassed at work

New poll shows that barriers to workplace equality include pay, sexism, childcare and family status

One in five women have been subjected to sexual harassment in the workplace, according to a new survey of Irish workers.

A poll commissioned by HR Buddy, a human resources consultancy, also found 70 per cent of women say women are more likely to be overlooked for promotion.

The biggest barriers to gender equality in the workplace were found to be pay, sexism, childcare and family status.
