Helen McEntee won’t appear before justice committee this week amid law and order crisis

Justice minister has said she will not be able to accept committee’s invitation due to conflicting schedules

Helen McEntee, the Minister for Justice, has said she will be unable to appear before the Oireachtas committee on justice on Wednesday.

McEntee and Drew Harris, the Garda Commissioner, had been invited to appear before TDs and Senators following last week’s riots in Dublin, however the justice minister has said she will not be able to attend due to scheduling conflicts.
