Heathrow Airport expects ‘record’ summer

The company behind Heathrow Airport has said it expected this summer to be the “the busiest on record” as it geared up for the holiday season.

Some 18.5 million passengers travelled through the UK’s busiest airport during the first three months of this year, more than ever before, according to its quarter one results.
