Shane Corr, the Department of Health whistleblower, will face his first civil service disciplinary hearing on Monday, just over a year since he revealed financial dysfunction at the heart of the health budget in leaked recordings to the Business Post.

The health tapes, which were a series of secret recordings made by Corr of Department of Health budgetary officials discussing deficiencies with the management of health spending by politicians and the HSE, were detailed by the Business Post across last year.
