Half of tourism firms expect more overseas visitors this year - Fáilte Ireland

The report from the state tourism body found that businesses named rising costs related to energy and payroll among their biggest challenges

Almost half of tourism businesses expect the number of visitors to Ireland to increase in 2024, according to a new report from the state tourism body.

The research from Fáilte Ireland found that 44 per cent expect visitor numbers to be up on last year, 35 per cent think they will be about the same, and 21 per cent expect them to be down.
