The current economic growth outlook is uncertain and downside risks have increased, the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) has said in its latest bulletin assessing the economic state of the country.

In the bulletin the CBI has forecast GDP growth of 2.5 per cent next year. However, in 2023, in headline terms, economic activity as measured by GDP will likely contract for the year as a whole.
